Is the Android companion paid?
No. The Android app is a free companion used only to connect the phone. Paid features are sold as a Windows desktop software license.
Does VikCastX work with OBS?
Yes. Cast into the Windows app, then capture the app window or display in OBS for streaming or recording.
Which connection is best for gaming?
USB is the recommended mode when latency matters most. WiFi is useful when cable-free movement is more important.
Can I buy without an account?
Yes. VikCastX can issue a Windows license key by email after payment. Account dashboards can come later.
What happens if I change PCs?
The admin panel is prepared for device resets so support can release a license from an old Windows PC.
